Chameleoco

We have said it hundreds of times, our first and favorite panther, Bubblegum, our blue pride and joy is once again basking in the spotlight.

You may know that Jamie and I attended the opening of the new living worlds exhibition at The Manchester Museum a few months ago with a few of our Chameleons and along with Cameron, and his cresties held a handling table for the invited guests. Also invited was Steve Backshall from CBBC's deadly sixty who gave a fascinating talk. Deadly sixty has been filming its new series from a selection of different museums and yes, you have guessed it, yesterday were filming at Manchester Museum. They were filming a peice on how Chameleons feed and their amazing vision, now, who better to illustrate this than the man himself, bubblegum. This guy never fails to perfectly demonstrate all the uniqueness of the species and all with a "smile on his face" (this part is not true, but i like to think inside he is smiling.

So eyes peeled for Chameleoco's own Bubblegum on BBC in the near future!!

The Screameleons are settling in fantastically. Perfect in every way, they are already showing an exiting amount of colours and growing well.

We have also, this week recieved a C. Parsonii from Europe, who is absolutely wonderful. He/she is eating and drinking and as far as we can tell, is enjoying her new enclosure. We have a friend who has just returned from Madagscar armed with pics, observations and info aplenty so our little Parsons is being researched and housed meticulously.
